Some people feel that vegan food is bland and boring. Of course it can be if it’s badly done, but learn a few new techniques and you’ll soon be able to make tasty and nutritious plant based meals. In this session we’ll cover replacing staples such as eggs and cheese to make a variety of dishes and explore how to inject strong flavours into your food. Together we’ll make a variety of dishes which we’ll eat for lunch (wine provided). We’ll make Filo cigars filled with homemade vegan cheese and learn how to make vegan mayonnaise. We’ll use Jackfruit as a versatile and tasty alternative to meat and we’ll make some faux fish cakes. We’ll finish with an amazing chocolate mousse made with aquafaba (chickpea water). I promise it’ll be the best chocolate mousse you’ve ever tasted and it couldn’t be easier!
The workshop will end by eating all the delicious food we’ve made!

Workshops will include all ingredients and recipe cards, with an apron provided. Some workshops can be adapted to accommodate food allergies such as gluten so get in touch to discuss your needs.
