Date

Event Time:

4:30 pm

Are you a new vegan or an old hand stuck in a rut? Frustrated about eating the same old unsatisfying dishes? Struggling to feed the vegan in your life? Wanting to cut down on your consumption of animal products? If that’s you, we’ve got you covered whatever your level.

By the end of this 4 day, 5 night cooking holiday you will:

  • be able to create satisfying and delicious vegan food every day with no compromise
  • have a toolkit of ideas and techniques to create your own dishes and veganize old favourites.
  • know all about must-have vegan storecupboard ingredients
  • be able to wow your guests, including omnivores
  • understand nutrition
  • satisfy those cheese cravings!
  • not feel hungry all the time!

All of this means that by the end of the course you’ll be a confident, inspired vegan cook, unafraid to experiment or try new ideas.

The detail of what we cover depends on what’s good in the market that week but you’ll make 6-8 dishes per day including:

  • Making Tofu tasty
  • Delicious and indulgent desserts
  • Street food favourites including burgers, falafel, bhajis and flat breads
  • Techniques for getting the best from vegetables including braising, searing and baking
  • Making your own sauces and condiments from scratch such as mayonnaise and gravy
  • Vegan cheeses
  • Decadent vegan snacks

Included

  • 4 days of workshops in our air conditioned kitchen
  • Accommodation for 5 nights (this course can be booked with or without accommodation)
  • Breakfast each day
  • Lunch each day – in reality we’ll eat what we’ve cooked!
  • Simple meal on Monday evening.
  • Station Transfers from Lexos or Caussade (Tarn et Garonne)
  • Recipes
  • All Ingredients

Not Included

  • Dinner (except on Monday night).  There will always be leftovers you’re welcome to eat, but my experience of these workshops is that no-one’s hungry afterwards!
  • Airport transfers, although these can be arranged at extra cost. We can also tell you how to get here by train from Toulouse airport.

Our village, St Antonin Noble Val is a great place to spend time, especially if you’re into outdoor activities. Many of our guests extend their stay so that they can explore the region. We’re happy to do that when we have rooms available.
