We’ve been really taken aback by the demand for vegan gluten free food from our guests. It’s never been a problem for us, but people often tell us how difficult it is to find good food and to cook suitable dishes themselves, so we set out to do something about it.
Our 3 day/4 night vegan gluten free cookery course takes our usual no compromise approach.
We don’t cook or teach anything unless it’s absolutely delicious, so you’ll never feel that you’re
accepting second best to get the food you want and need.
Whether you’ve had to adapt your diet for health reasons or want to explore this exciting way of
cooking this course will show you how to use a range of gluten free and vegan ingredients. We’ll also show you how to adapt classic dishes by exploring a wide range of substitutions you can use.

During this residential you will make:

• Delicious cakes, breads and pastries using a variety of gluten free flour blends.
• Indulgent desserts such as cheesecake and chocolate tart.
• Quiche Lorraine and fermented buckwheat pancake
• Sauces, dips and dressings
• You’ll even make your own crackers and cheese!

This cooking holiday will be all about using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.  That means of course that we may need to alter some of the dishes we cook in order to take advantage of what’s available.

If you want to extend your stay in St Antonin it’s possible if we have rooms available.

Included

• Four nights accommodation at Le Cheval Blanc
• All Meals (We provide a light breakfast, lunch forms part of the workshops and you’re welcome to eat what you’ve made for dinner)
• Transfer to/from local railway stations (Caussade (Tarn et Garonne) or Lexos)

Not Included

• Additional activities during free time
• Alcohol in addition to what is provided with the meals
• Airport transfers, although these can be arranged at extra cost, or we can tell you how to get here by train from Toulouse Airport.
